Michelle Singer is the esteemed Campus Director of the Statesboro, Georgia branch of Jill Dixon’s Eclectic Academy of Learning (EAL). She resides in Statesboro, GA, with her husband, Brad, a clinical social worker at Ft. Stewart, and their two cherished pets.
Michelle is the proud mother of two accomplished adult children. Her daughter, Britney, holds a pivotal role as the Director of Programs and Compliance of Workforce Development in Atlanta. Their son, Carson, is an EAL alumnus who spent nine of his ten homeschooling years at the academy. A former soccer player for Toccoa Falls, Carson now serves our nation as a soldier in the US Army.
Originally from Illinois, Michelle and her family relocated to Georgia in 2009. She embarked on her professional journey in the banking and investment sector. After marriage, she transitioned into community service, serving as the Community Relations Director for a shelter assisting victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse. In addition, she volunteered as a hospital advocate.
Michelle also contributed to the public relations department of the K-12 Christian School her children attended in Illinois. She has been an active member of several committees, both professionally and through her church, and has served as a Stephen Minister and a Stephen Ministry Leader.
In 2015, Michelle and her husband initiated the Coastal Homeschool Athletic Association Soccer Teams, dedicating eight seasons to the cause. Michelle was a constant presence on the sidelines, capturing plays on camera and managing financials, schedules, and volunteers behind the scenes.
Since 2012, Michelle has been an integral part of the EAL Savannah Campus as a teacher. She also works part-time for Publix Pharmacy and supervises Off Ice officials for the ECHL, attending all Savannah Ghost Pirates games.
The Statesboro, GA campus, under Michelle’s leadership, convenes every Thursday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
