Each student is to pick one book from List 1 and two books from List 2. If the book in List 2 has an *, it can be chosen alone because it will take 8 weeks to read instead of 4. Each book will be read in 4 weeks unless it has an *, so make sure you can read and analyze it in that amount of time. Please make sure you pick something you think you will enjoy.
Parents, if you are not sure about the content of a book, please look it up before your student reads it. I suggest reading about the book before your child chooses it. pluggedin.com has reputable reviews on books. Audible versions are also recommended.
