Alan & Sherilee Maxcy – Tucker, GA

Alan and Sherilee Maxcy 2

Alan and Sherilee Maxcy are the passionate co-directors of the Tucker EAL campus. They live in Stone Mountain, GA, with their two wild and wonderful kids, Eli and Noa, and spend their days juggling work, homeschool adventures, and way too much coffee.

Alan is a nonprofit expert with over fifteen years of experience helping organizations maximize their impact. As a seasoned youth development professional, he has a track record of transforming grassroots initiatives into award-winning programs through strategic planning and implementation. When he’s not in work mode, you’ll probably find him perfecting his pizza dough recipe or cycling around Stone Mountain.

Sherilee has spent nearly a decade working with children and serving in children’s ministry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. Passionate about shaping young minds, she believes every child learns differently and thrives when given the freedom to explore in their own way. A lifelong book lover, she’s always on the hunt for the next great read—both for herself and the kids.

Together, Alan and Sherilee are dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences at EAL and at home, where every day is an adventure in education, discovery, and family.
