Abby Lowery is the Campus Director of the Mesquite, Texas branch of Jill Dixon’s Eclectic Academy of Learning. The 2025-2026 school year will be this academy’s fourth year in session and the first EAL branch located outside the state of Georgia!
Abby has been married to her husband, Ben, a local pastor, for almost 23 years and has two children, ages 15 and 6. Abby has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Dallas Baptist University and has spent the last two decades using her degree alongside her husband in ministry. She has also homeschooled their son for the past eleven years, including five years as part of the EAL community.
Abby spent many years in the corporate world – primarily in the field of marketing. She also ran her own home-based business for 10+ years and was able to use her affinity for graphic design & marketing to build and grow that business. She loves the flexibility and creativity of homeschooling and is passionate about helping other families curate homes filled with truth, beauty, and the joy and wonder of learning.
Our Mesquite, Texas academy meets on Wednesdays from 9:30am – 3:00pm. Our academy days include EAL’s core curriculum along with a short chapel along with enrichment classes incorporating various subjects and skills. We are very excited to continue Jill’s exceptional program in the great state of Texas!
